Naffah’s voice can be described as raw, emotive and soulful, with a distinctive husky quality like no other. His voice has all the soul your heart can possibly bear. Listening to him first thing in the morning while having breakfast at Kaa Kada is definitely the better way to start any day. Quiet and unassuming, he transforms famous soulful songs with his own voice, guaranteed to hit you different in the most intrinsic way.

Believe it or not, Naffah only started singing publicly at Oaga Art Resort, although he has been singing for himself as long as he can remember. He has been playing guitar for almost 15 years, but he had always been self conscious about singing in front of other people in the past. The first time he sang publicly was at his own wedding and he found it nerve-wrecking. With the support of his wife and the Vibe Team, he has been able to overcome this, and is now confident with public performances. His goal in terms of singing is to reach a point where he can be a human jukebox!

His work background is in logistics and operations. In addition to being a solo artist, Naffah also helps out at Suvāsthi retail gallery, where you can chance upon him at the counter.

He is naturally drawn to mellow, slow songs such as artists Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, Coldplay, Jack Johnson and the Maldivian band Trio. He does not have any favourites when it comes to an artist or genre, but loves the vocalist of the band Muse. He is a fan of the Vibe Director Shiuz and wants to further develop being comfortable in his skin and having a good immersive time during his performances. Reflecting on his journey here, he is thankful to be where he is, as he never thought he would pursue being an artist as a career.
