Tailor
As a Watersports Assistant, you will play a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences by supporting the daily operations of the resort’s watersports and recreational activities. You will assist guests with a variety of non-motorized and motorized watersports activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and hospitality.
You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining watersports equipment, conducting safety briefings, and assisting guests of all experience levels with activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, jet skiing, and other marine excursions. A friendly and energetic attitude is essential, as you will regularly engage with guests and help create memorable moments during their stay.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the ocean, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in watersports, lifeguarding, or hospitality is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with watersports activities and equipment usage
- Provide clear safety instructions and ensure all activities follow safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of watersports equipment and facilities
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance issues
- Support the team in organizing excursions and guest activities
- Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive guest service at all times
- Ensure guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in watersports or hospitality preferred
- Strong swimming skills and confidence in the water
- Friendly personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in tropical conditions
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic first aid or lifeguard certification is an advantage
