Today, Oaga is proud to be recognised as the Maldives’ most distinctive art resort, where contemporary hospitality meets authentic Maldivian culture.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed curious travellers, passionate artists, familiar faces who keep coming home, and first-time guests who quickly became part of our story. Every conversation, every celebration, every piece of feedback, and every shared memory has helped shape the Oaga you know today.

Over the past few months, while our doors were closed, we were busy refining the spaces you love. Not to become something different, but to become an even better version of ourselves.

On 1 August 2026, we reopened our doors, marking a new chapter in our story.

Not as a brand new Oaga.

But as Oaga taking its next form.

Our Haruge Beach Villas have been thoughtfully refreshed with new comforts, updated interiors, and little details that make every stay feel even more effortless. Kaa Kada has grown into a bigger, livelier gathering place where every meal feels like a celebration. Around the island, you’ll discover new corners to explore, familiar spaces with fresh stories to tell, and thoughtful upgrades; made possible by listening to the people who know Oaga best: you.
