Jaime & Karim
Oaga Creatives
Renowned artists Karim Jabbari and Jaime Brown have visited Oaga twice, leaving their creative footprint each time. During their stays, they created personalised light portraits for guests while consulting on and developing interactive artistic spaces for both guests and Oaga Rahvehin. Karim, a world-renowned calligraphy and light artist, is known for breathtaking live performances, installations, and large-scale murals, while Jaime blends fine art, public art, and digital expression across projects worldwide.

Bringing the Vibes from Overseas
Their work continues to live across the island. Karim’s creations include a metallic illuminated installation featuring carved Arabic calligraphy, calligraphy artwork at Oaga’s Mosque, and an upcycled SUP board installation at Hoara X Centre. Jaime’s vibrant work can be found on the colourful pink buggy, the large mural at Baa Badhigé, and the playful palm tree greeting guests outside Raa Baa—each becoming part of Oaga’s ever-evolving artistic story.
