Ahmed Sobah (Toxicrew) is a contemporary artist and activist shaped by the restless energy of Malé. Since beginning his artistic journey at the turn of the century, he has painted murals across festivals and events throughout the Maldives, building a practice rooted in free expression, youthful rebellion, and honest storytelling. Inspired by the contradictions of urban life, Sobah uses art as both activism and catharsis, turning the frustrations and character of Malé into vivid creative expression.
