Lunar Beats Festival: A Story built around Rhythm, Light, Movement and Fire
The Lunar Beats Festival reframes “beats” as a state of being, the heartbeat that connects people, the energy that sparks creativity, and the courage to step into a new year with intention. The festival unifies Raa Baa Beats, Valentine’s Day, and Chinese New Year through a story built around rhythm, light, movement, and fire.
Blending from rhythmic gatherings at the Lunar Beats Festival Concert, shifting to experiences celebrating meaningful bonds on Valentine’s Day to rising from the ashes with fast-paced energy of the Fire Horse Year – we celebrate renewal, strength and momentum. This Festival is an inclusive, contemporary and culturally resonant space for all guests – fusing with Oaga’s natural artistic soul.
The Concert: Maahefun Edition
13th to 15th February, 2026
Every year, Oaga hosts Raa Baa Beats: Maahefun Edition, a 3-day ticketed concert with headlining artists, elevating the experience of Maahefun – a local traditional feast held among friends, family and the community before the month of Ramadan. Likewise, the first 3 days of Lunar Beats Festival is dubbed “The Concert” featuring artists Nish, Faya, Sentu, Soul Salad, Digital Flock, Farey, DJ RA.EE and inhouse acts including Naffah and Nuff.
‘The Concert’ will be opening bookings for day-pass tickets on our website including round-trip transfers (scheduled), access to entertainment and a drinks voucher for selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Inhouse guests will have free access to this event as part of their evening entertainment.

All You Need is Love
14th February 2026
Valentine’s Day will also be featured within the Festival on February 14th, under the theme “All you need is Love” celebrating self-love and resilience. With special themed features across outlets, a Sunset Group Bachata session will also be hosted by Amney from Moo Gé. A special Valentine’s Day Special Dinner (chargeable) will be held at Samaasaa Beach in addition to Live Entertainments from Nuff and Soul Salad, closing the day with DJ & Pool Party with Digital Flock.

On February 16th, Oaga begins to celebrate “The Year of Fire Horse” transforming into a Chinese traditional and fire horse themed renaissance lasting 4 days. Special events from Chinese New Year Special Dinner Night at Kaa Kada Beach (inclusive) to Chinese Movie Night with traditional appetizers, Oaga advances into a celebration of connection, positive energy and courage; with LIVE entertainment featuring, Project Groove, Harunulaa Boduberu Group, Naffah and a Fire Beach Party with DJ Afruh.
