Oaga Art Resort has premiered a one-of-a-kind dining experience for Valentine's Day at their luxury resort in the Maldives. In partnership with their own theatre team at Samaasaa the specialty restaurant, they introduced a five-course dinner by the beach paired with a live performance of the Maldivian tale of two star crossed lovers “Dhon Hiyala and Alifulhu”, creating an unforgettable evening for the audience.

The theatrical dining experience is a first of its kind in the Maldives, providing guests with a unique and immersive experience that combines exceptional cuisine with a captivating live performance. Oaga Art Resort’s talented chefs, headed by Chef Zuhair, have created a five-course menu that features fresh and seasonal ingredients sourced locally. The evening began with a cocktail reception on the beach featuring an unplugged performance by local musician Shiuz, followed by an enchanting show that took on a journey through a magical love story. As the audience watched the performance unfold, the waiters presented each course of the meal, each one carefully crafted to delight the senses.
To top off the evening of this Valentine's Day theatrical dining experience, the local musician Affan performed at the after party. With soft sand under your feet and the gentle sea breeze in the air, it was the perfect setting for a night of passion and love. The resort’s after party provided the perfect end to a magical evening, creating lasting memories to treasure for a lifetime.
