Lahu, also known as Lahustrations, is a passionate Maldivian illustrator who channels her emotions through art. With nearly 10 years of experience in graphic design and illustration within agencies, she now thrives as a full-time freelancer 

Her artwork beautifully reflects her deep love for nature, showcasing intricate details of leaves and the ocean. Lahu’s style is characterized by a harmonious blend of nature-inspired elements, groovy lines, and rich texture. 

A Labyrinth of Dreams

My world begins in yellow, the color of sun, warmth, and the song that has always been my heartbeat. I am an island girl, carrying scars and victories, now feeling indescribable freedom, a river rushing through me. My mind drifts where two worlds collide: what if a whale shark swam across the sky? What if invaders stepped into my father’s garden, right above our home? Dreams and reality merge, and I stand in the middle, always alive. Childhood, memory, and imagination intertwine, with the forest dancing with the ocean. In their collision, I find peace, awe, and balance—a gentle rhythm of life finally understood. This ultimate liberation, like standing before a waterfall with tears streaming, is my story, surreal, wild, and alive. The rhythm of life extends to the Villa’s walls, etched in murals that hold a hidden dialogue. A secret language is written in these marks, and I invite you to find the key that unlocks the whispers of this shared dream. Step inside the beautiful labyrinth of my dreams.
